Senior Mechanical/Biomedical Engineer (ETH, University)
Aufgaben
- Shape the evolution of our technology—from laboratory invention to clinical application
- Design and develop application tools and delivery systems for our soft tissue repair materials
- Design and develop relevant test setups and phantom models for material and delivery system testing
- Bridge your thorough expertise as engineers with material scientist / biochemist
- Contribute to our IP portfolio with expertise, creativity and foresight
- Deep dive into clinical and regulatory pathways with precision and purpose
- Serve with hands-on engineering work as well as testing projects for the CTO
Anforderung
- Master in mechanical or biomedical engineering, or closely related field
- Passion for medical devices, procedure kits and biomaterials / medical polymers
- Strong track record of creative innovation and tangible outcomes
- Motivated hands-on engineer with independent working style, and a sense of adventure
- Excellent interdisciplinary skills to team up with material scientists and biochemists
- High creativity, multi disciplinarity and track record in generating intellectual property
- Ideally with hands-on experience in device development with focus on delivery systems
- Ideally with experience of in-vitro and in-vivo testing
