Caritas Switzerland is dedicated to preventing, alleviating, and combatting poverty both domestically and globally. With a team of over 900 employees working worldwide, we provide professional and efficient support to individuals regardless of their religious beliefs, political affiliations, gender, or ethnicity. The International Cooperation arm of Caritas Switzerland operates in approximately 20 countries. With our local partner organisations, we are offering assistance to children and adults facing precarious situations related to income, climate issues, and migration. In times of disasters, Caritas also provides emergency relief and aids in reconstruction efforts. The Digitalisation and Process Unit plays a crucial role in supporting the International Cooperation Section's core processes by enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness through process-related quality standards and digitalization. A newly organised team within this Unit will provide administrative services to internal customers. For this team, we are seeking for a Team Lead Business Services (f/m/d).
Duty
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team and ensuring the successful provision and further development of services such as travel management, data and document management, event and meeting management (on- and offline), translation management or on- and offboarding of staff.

- Lead a team of three people and provide the services for internal clients
- Implement the Service Desk model (one point of contact for all requests)
- Take overall responsibility for the implementation of services, including digitalisation efforts and team-internal knowledge management regarding the provision of services
- Facilitate the professional development of the team, including conducting training sessions on business process analysis methods such as process mapping, BPMN, end-to-end processes etc.
- Support the service focal points with the continuous improvement of the services
- Act as a focal point for specific services and develop them by using digital tools
- Advise process owners across units on ensuring process documentation standards
- Contribute to strategic internal projects led by the Digitalisation and Processes Unit
Requirement
- Strong ability to quickly understand and map business processes, discover optimisation potential and find effective solutions
- 3-5 years of professional experience in business process and service team management
- Higher education in business process management, business analysis, digitalisation or any related field
- Facilitative leadership style to empower teams to be agile and self-organised
- Strong interest in agile methods, digital tools and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence
- Highly self-organized and structured way of working, high flexibility and agile mindset
- Fluency in English and German; knowledge of French or Spanish is an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office, Sharepoint, Visio etc.), knowledge of other relevant softwares are an asset
