Intern Controlling Humanitarian Aid, 80%
During an Internship Controlling Humanitarian Aid (HA), you will assist the Finance Controller of the HA department in the design, implementation, financial monitoring and administration of HEKS' humanitarian aid programmes. Aufgaben
- You participate in the inventory, compilation and improvement of existing financial and accounting procedures (budget monitoring, donor files, calculation of an exchange rate, etc.), and translation of procedures into English if necessary
- You help with the monthly processing of the mission's accounts (checking the documents received from the field and their correct allocation)
- You help in monitoring the correct allocation of funds, their eligibility and compliance with donor financial procedures.
- You assist with archiving work
- You help to prepare HQ and field audits
- You support in monitoring the mission's cash flow (cash flow forecast, management of bank accounts and cash boxes, payment schedules, monitoring of donor payments made in the field, etc.)
- You support for programme budget management (budget monitoring)
Anforderung
- You have training in either in accounting, administration or finance
- You have good analytical, conceptual and writing skills
- You have sound financial management skills
- You have excellent communication, representation, negotiation, and networking skills and interest
- Your working attitude is characterized by initiative, effectiveness, cooperation, participation, and respect
- You have sound ICT skills
- You have sound intercultural communication and skills
- You are fluent in English and French
