Our Laboratory for Advanced Fibers in St. Gallen pursues materials research in the field of polymers and fibers. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
Duty
Your tasks:
- Technical management of the laboratory for polymer extrusion and compounding.
- Development of new extrusion processes and prototypes.
- Design of feasibility studies and acquisition of research projects.
- Establish scientific-technical basics; transfer to industry.
- Training and supervision of students in the laboratory.
- Assembling data support scientific publications and projects.
- Maintaining and expanding our networking with industry.
Requirement
Your profile:
- Completed studies in plastics technology or comparable, preferably master's degree.Completed studies in plastics technology or comparable, preferably master's degree.
- Experience in polymer processing on extrusion facilities and compounders.
- Rejoice in polymer and fiber research, including prototyping.
- Interest in polymer analytics.
- Communication skills in a multicultural working environment.
- Good command of German and English.
