For the IC section we are looking for
People Stewards IC
A people steward focuses his/her activities on people. A people steward therefore supports further development, value-adding conflict resolution, human resources processes and the promotion of a good working environment.

This role is open exclusively to internal applications from the IC section. It is not necessary to hand in any documents. However, a statement regarding your motivation for this role is appreciated. 

Each people steward is responsible for 7 to 8 employees outside of her or his main holacratic circle. The workload for this role amounts to approximately 15–20 %. The purpose of this role: Empowering people to grow in a self-organised environment.
Duty
  • Supporting in dealing with conflicts 
  • Conducting employee appraisals (e.g. JAG, probationary period appraisal) including constructive feedback 
  • Return-to-work interviews after prolonged absences 
  • Reintegration after absence due to illness or accident 
  • Supporting in employee development 
  • Giving constructive feedback and receiving and processing feedback
  • Acting responsibly and decision-making in disciplinary cases (e.g. warnings, reprimands, dismissals), involving the relevant roles and taking into account the applicable guidelines 
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding in collaboration with Circle and HR 
  • Dealing with tensions relating to time management and compliance with labour law requirements (e.g. overtime, violations of working time regulations) in collaboration with HR and, if necessary, the Circle Lead 
  • Preparing interim and final references after collecting feedback from the respective Circle Lead 

Two compulsory half-day training courses are offered for each person who takes on the role as People Steward. This training provides an in-depth examination of this role and the expectations associated with it.
Requirement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset 
  • Trustworthiness and discretion: Handling sensitive employee information and situations 
  • Ability to assess situations fairly and involve relevant stakeholders 
  • Ability to identify development needs and support growth initiatives 
  • Experience in conflict mediation or conducting structured employee appraisals advantageous 
  • Willingness to familiarise with HR processes
