Programme Support (80-100 %)
The Programme Support person is responsible for supporting the country organisations in tasks related to the core topics of compliance, financial management and processes. In this role, he/she is responsible for the preparation/revision and implementation of documents as well as training on relevant regulations and digitalisation tools in coordination with other Programme Support colleagues and the various interfaces within the organisation.
Duty
  • Supporting Caritas Switzerland's country programmes in Compliance tasks such as    • Digitalisation and process management
    • Financial management and procurement
    • Contract management/legal issues 
  • Development of training materials for the country organisations and implementation of introductory trainings on these topics (in close coordination with internal interfaces/focal points)
  • Responsible for answering operational compliance questions incl. improvement of comprehensibility / applicability
  • Assumption of specific tasks relating to the interfaces with the Finance and Administration unit, the Quality Management Compliance unit and the Human Resources unit
  • Management responsibility for the Country Group Secretariat at Head Office
  • AOB to relieve the Operational Management IC
Requirement
  • University degree or equivalent education, various specialisations possible
  • At least five years of professional experience, management experience an advantage 
  • Work experience in the field of international cooperation incl. experience abroad, experience with Caritas Switzerland is an advantage
  • Flair for digital applications and programmes. Knowledge of Caritas standard programmes (Intranet, Abacus, NGO-Online, etc. advantageous) 
  • Experience in coaching / development of trainings is an advantage 
  • Conceptual and analytical skills
  • Very good written and oral communication skills. Very high intercultural competence
  • Ability to work independently, time flexibility
  • Willingness to work up to 50 % in Caritas Switzerland's countries of operation
  • Solution-oriented approach to work
  • Very good language skills in English and French, Spanish is an advantage
Your place of work will be in Lucerne and in the countries of operation of Caritas Switzerland (50/50).
